4 extra large eggs
2 cups castor sugar
1 cup oil
2 teaspoons of vanilla essence
2 1/2 cups of flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup of milk
Pinch of salt


Beat eggs and sugar till light and fluffy taking care the eggs
added gradually.
Add the oil to mixture and beat further.
Sift the dry ingredients twice.
Add the flour to the mixture and add the milk alternately.
Once the mixture is mixed properly turn out into a well lined
Bake in pre -heated oven of 180 degrees till golden brown in
3 cups of icing sugar
60 ml of cocoa
When a more chocolate flavour is preferred add more cocoa.
60 ml melted butter
200 ml of boiling water
Mix all these ingredients together and syrup is ready.
Allow the cake to cool completely, cut into blocks and dip into
syrup, roll it in dessicated coconut.
Store in fridge.
