Maizena Achaar




1 1/2 kg mangoes
3 Tbsp salt
4 Tbsp Methi Masala
3 Tbsp crushed Chillies
1 Tbsp crushed jeero
1 tsp arad
2 Cups vinegar
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup maizena
Curry leaves
Green chillies
Oil for vagaar
Whole mustard seeds

Wash and dry, peel and cut mangoes into cubes. Add salt, methi masala, crushed chillies, jeeroo, arad and mix well. Boil vinegar, sugar,oil and maizena on low. When it begins to thicken add to mangoes while still hot. Make vagaar with mustard seeds, curry leaves and cut chillies. Refridgerate. NB: can be frozen
