Spend whilst you are young and healthy…
Hadeeth:
Hazrat Abu Hurairah RadhiyAllahu anhu reports that a person came to Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam and asked:
Which form of charity carries the greatest reward?
Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wa Sallam replied:
That which you give in charity while you are in good health, have the desire to amass wealth,
fear poverty and hope for prosperity;
not waiting (to give charity) till you are in the throes of death and then say:
give so much to him and so much to him whereas it has already become theirs (through inheritance).
