Interest worse than Zina

Sayyiduna Abdullah Ibn Salaam RadhiyAllahu Ta’ala ‘Anhu narrates that

MY BELOVED NABI SallAllahu alaihi wa sallam said :

” Earning one dirham ( coin / cent ) of interest is MORE despicable in the sight of ALLAH than committing adultery 33 times “

# Adultery is one of the chief major sins , BUT earning one dirham ( coin / cent ) of interest supersedes the accumulated sin of 33 adulteries.
