Mufti Taqi Usmani – Special Ulama Majlis on Tasawwuf

Honourable Ulama and dear brothers,

Here are 3 recordings during Allamah Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani sahib’s (damat barakatuhum) visit to England during June/July 2012.

The first is a very rare 40-min long lecture in Arabic on the great ‘ulama of Deoband and Saharanpur and their pure sunni tasawwuf. It was delivered in a special majlis of ‘ulama in the Abu Bakr Trust madrasah of Walsall on 01 July 2012. Hazrat was particularly addressing a special guest – a representative alim from the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs. It is followed by a 13-min long Urdu speech.

The second recording is of Hazrat’s 55-min long beautiful English lecture on tasawwuf and Imam Hakim al-Ummah Mawlana Ashraf ‘Ali Thanwi’s (rahimahullah) contribution to it. This was recorded in Leicester on 24 June 2012.

The third recording is of Hazrat’s hour-long dars of the final hadith of Sahih al-Bukhari at the Abu Bakr Trust madrasah of Walsall on 01 July 2012.
