Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Radhiyallahu Anhu used to recite Quran in a most beautiful and heartrending manner.

It was so captivating that the idol-worshipping women and children of Makkah would surround his home to listen with rapt attention to his recitation.

In fact the leaders of Makkah had resolved to exile Abu Bakr Radhiyallahu Anhu from Makkah fearing that his recitation was so mesmerizing that their wives and children would accept Islam solely by the virtue of his recitation.
